WCVL/WIMC RADIO AUDIO CLIPS

From October 1999-January 2001, I had the pleasure of working at WCVL and WIMC radio stations in Crawfordsville, IN. I was a full-time DJ for a while, filled in doing news, and I had many awesome experiences during that time. Here are few of my favorites and some "air checks" that you might enjoy.

• Breaking News - "The Sky Is Falling!" (11/99)
  This was an interesting evening...a very large meteor went across Indiana and I was "out and about" and in the newsroom that night. Take a listen to this newscast that pulled it all together in at least a semi-coherent form of some type. Featuring Jerome Richey from Newschannel 15 in Champaign and Shana Kennedy from the Indiana State Police.
  
  
  

• Crawfordsville Christmas Parade (12/00)
  Here I am wrapping up our bitter cold Crawfordsville Christmas Parade coverage with radio partner-in-crime Harvey Kellar from WCVL. Just listening to it makes my teeth chatter...pass the hot chocolate, please!

• Indiana State Fair Live News (8/00)
  This was the open to my morning newscast on the opening morning of the 2000 Indiana State Fair. I got the pleasure of interviewing the late Indiana Governor Frank O'Bannon and then Lieutenant Governor Joe Kernan that morning and will always remember it.
  

• Liver Sausage...LIVE!
  As proof that I will do just about anything on a dare, I taste liver sausage for the first time...LIVE!!! (with Ben Early, morning DJ)
  

• Network Indiana News Report (8/00)
  Breaking news happens...the death of a former mayor of Crawfordsville...and I file this report for the Network Indiana news service which feeds stories to stations across the state.

  I punch the wrong buttons and I have no clue what's going on...LOL.

  This was after I tried the liver sausage...I couldn't even remember what time of day it was, and Ben Early made the funniest face from the other studio I try hard to maintain my composure as a "professional news guy"...LOL.
